Pastor Jeremy Cook has been the Lead Pastor of Sherwood Park Alliance Church (SPAC) since 2024 but has served in various roles on staff for almost two decades. Before becoming Lead Pastor, Jeremy left SPAC briefly while he served as Assistant District Superintendent of the Midwest District of The Alliance Canada, where he focused on New Ventures and Missions Mobilization.
As a third-generation Alliance Pastor, ministry runs in Jeremy’s family. His connection to The Alliance Canada is deeply personal, with many family members having served within the church.
Jeremy and his wife, Heather, are proud parents of two children who attend Strathcona Christian Academy (SCA).

We have three identical services each weekend: Saturday night at 6pm and Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am. When you walk in, you'll be greeted by a member of our hosting team who can answer any questions you might have. You'll have the chance to grab a specialty drink or free drip coffee from our café, check your kids into kids ministry, or connect with a friend. Once you've made your way into the Auditorium you'll experience worship through music, prayer, and teaching from the Bible. Our services are roughly 65 minutes in length.
At the end of every weekend service we have prayer team members available to pray for you. You'll find them against the wall on the left side of the Auditorium near the cross. Whatever you're dealing with, you don't have to face it alone. Our prayer team members would love to come alongside you to seek God and offer encouragement.
You can also submit a prayer request online at any time and someone from our prayer team will pray for you this week.

We offer programming during all our weekend services for kids from Nursery to Grade 6 where they will have the opportunity to connect with each other, learn about Jesus, and have tons of fun! Nursery to Grade 2 kids can be checked in 15 minutes before the start of the service. Grade 3 to 6 kids will join the service in the Auditorium for the first portion along with their parent or guardian and will be dismissed after the worship songs are over. Kids ministry leaders will be ready at the back of the room to lead kids to their classrooms for the remainder of the service.
If you have questions when you arrive, look for our Kids Ministry booth in the Atrium. A member of our Kids team will be happy to assist you!

SPAC Youth is a place where you can build meaningful friendships, connect with awesome leaders, grow in your faith, and have a whole lot of fun along the way! Each youth night includes time to hang out and enjoy fun activities, an engaging group game, a sermon from our Youth Ministry Team, and meaningful conversation and prayer in Life Groups.
Whether you’ve been coming for years or it’s your very first time, our prayer is that SPAC Youth will be a place where you truly belong—and where you’ll grow into a deeply rooted follower of Jesus.

Sr. High youth (Grade 9 to 12) takes place on Tuesdays at 7pm and Jr High youth (Grade 7 to 8) takes place on Wednesdays at 7pm.

Baptism is an opportunity to declare your faith and trust in Jesus and to be surrounded by your church family as they pray for and support you. We have baptism services throughout the year and hold prep classes in the weeks leading up to answer any questions you might have and to help you prepare for this step in your faith journey.
