Care Ministry Seminar

Join us for an inspiring and transformative seminar: Healthy Relationships - understanding the power of attachment with psychologist and author Tara Boothby from Sojourn Psychology, put on by the Care Ministry Team. This event is an opportunity to introduce the Church and the Community to the effects of attachment on relationships and to help with resources that integrate biblical and mental health principles that foster healthy relationships.

What to Expect

• Insightful Talk: Our speaker will explain the science and psychology of attachment and how the idea of love energy simplifies our understanding of it. She will answer the question, “Why do I do the things I do with the people I love?” and provide understanding on how our experience of pain impacts our relationship with ourselves, with others and with God.
• Personal Story: Hear how our speaker came to write a book on this subject.
• A Safe and Supportive Environment: We prioritize creating a respectful and non-judgmental space where everyone can feel comfortable to share and reflect. Our seminar is designed to be a sanctuary for open and honest communication, where every voice is valued.
• Information on Support Groups: Find out more about Support Groups that will be offered this Fall and meet the facilitators. Learn to combat struggles in your own life and support others in their journeys.
