International Workers Christmas Gift

As a church, each Christmas we come together to express love and encourage to our International Workers. You can participate this year by writing a note of encouragement in a number of different ways or by giving a financial gift. Go to spac.ca/iwchristmas to find out all the details!

Cards can be picked up or dropped off at the church during office hours or around a weekend service—Nov 27/28, Dec 4/5, Dec 11/12, and Dec 18/19.

Seniors Connect - Christmas

Looking for a place to connect with other seniors? Join us on Tuesday, December 7th, at 1:30 pm for a fun afternoon of Christmas music and community.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for church leaders to share organizational information, financial information as it relates to the past years' financial statements, and ministry information.

This meeting will be hosted online on Wednesday, December 8th at 7:30 pm. Registration is required at spac.ca/meeting.

Membership Class

Church membership is the next step for those who believe in what God is doing at Sherwood Park Alliance Church. It's a commitment to participate in our mission to make disciples of Jesus, to love God and to love others.

Blue Christmas

On Monday, December 13, 2021 at 7:00 pm we will be hosting an in person and online service for those who are grieving or struggling this Christmas. Join us for some scripture, music, and prayers as well lean on God to bring His comfort.

Registration for this evening is required - visit spac.ca/bluechristmas to register for this service.

Millbourne Christmas Photos

This Christmas season we are offering an evening of Christmas cheer for the community of Millbourne on December 13th and 15th at 6:30 pm! This event will have both indoor and outdoor components.

Volunteers will be helping inside with a Christmas activity and a photo booth. Outside we will have firepits, hot chocolate, and cookies. This is a great serving opportunity for all ages. Come join the fun and Christmas spirit in Millbourne. Hope to see you there! spac.ca/millbourne

Family Advent Kit

Advent is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the birth of Jesus and center your home around the good news of our long awaited Saviour. Before the calendar begins to overflow, make a plan to set aside a few minutes each day to remember and celebrate this Advent season by engaging in activities, prayer, and intentional conversations about Jesus as a family.

Go to spac.ca/kids to either register to drive by the church and pick up your kit or to download a digital copy for yourself!

We Care Christmas Bags

Sign up online to pick up a bag from the church office and fill it for someone in need this Christmas! This project is done in partnership with our We Care ministry. If you are thinking of doing something together with your Life Group, maybe consider filling a bag or two!

As we look towards building new teams for the fall there are many opportunities to get involved. Go to spac.ca/serve to learn more.

We believe that actively serving others brings us closer to God and reminds us to love like he does. Through serving, you'll use the unique ways that God has gifted you to help create welcoming environments where he can change lives.
