TreeHouse Preschool
The SonBurst TreeHouse Preschool is a fun place where 3 and 4 year olds get their first experience of going to school and learn that school is a great place to be! Our goal is to provide a quality, purposeful preschool program in a safe, welcoming environment that will engage children in the following ways:

Emotionally: Children feel safe and loved by caring, equipped teachers.

Creatively: Our 2 week theme units allow children to imagine and explore the world around them. Children are given opportunities to express themselves freely in multiple ways including music and art.

Intellectually: Children are engaged in age-appropriate activities that help them learn their ABCs, numbers, shapes, colours, etc.

Socially: Children make friends and learn to be kind, listen, take turns and share.

Physically: Children's gross motor skills are enhanced through indoor and outdoor play. Fine motor skills are purposefully developed through creative activities each day.

Spiritually: Our Christian teachers daily integrate Bible stories and prayer to help children learn that God made them, loves them and can be their forever friend.

Registration 2013/2014
Registration for the 2013/2014 school year began online March 7, 2013. If you are interested in registering your child, we still have spots in our three year old afternoon class or you may put your child on the waiting list. Please contact Kimberly Barber, our Director/Head Teacher, at 780-467-8404 x 427 or email. After talking to Kimberly, please fill out the registration form and bring the completed form and payment into the church office.
Class Options

*Must be 3 years old and toilet trained by September 1, 2013 to register.

Tuition & Fees for 2013/2014
$130/month for 10 months (September to June)
$50 Registration Fee (non-refundable once your child has received a spot in the class)
$50 Special Events Fee (payable in September)

The SonBurst TreeHouse Preschool is a ministry of Sherwood Park Alliance Church and a government-licensed preschool facility. The TreeHouse is connected to Strathcona Christian Academy as both are ministries of Sherwood Park Alliance Church, but the TreeHouse is not part of Elk Island Public Schools. Participation in SonBurst TreeHouse Preschool in no way secures a spot in Strathcona Christian Academy. To register for kindergarten at SCA, contact the Society Office at 780.467.4752. Registrations are accepted starting the first business day in January of the year your child turns 3 years old.
