Broken. Separated. Distant. Alienated. This was the state of our relationship with God after sin severed intimacy. Renews. Chooses. Accepts. This is what God does for us to see His dream of relationship with humanity restored.
The greatest act of love in history was Jesus sacrificing His life for us. It is this love that motivates everything we do and makes us everything we are. We are committed to seeing people everywhere experience the love of God in a personal way. (Romans 5:5, 1 John 4:9)
Our God made us in His image and placed the need for relationship in the core of our being. We're not meant to do life alone. We are committed to offering opportunities for meaningful, life-giving relationships. (Genesis 1:27, 1 Corinthians 12:27)
We're compelled by God to intentionally resist passivity in the face of injustice, poverty, inequity and brokenness. We're committed to using our resources of time, energy and finances for the benefit of people in our region and around the world. (Isaiah 58:6-14, Matthew 25:31-46)
